Installation of Spread Anchor
1. Pick the perfect diameter and capacity of the Spread Anchor according to the requirements.
2. Put the Spread Anchor into the matching Rubber Former which is reusable and comes in a pack of 2 which is reusable and can be used multiple times properly cleaned and maintained. Hang it within the formwork or secure it to the formwork with a Holding Plate or Holding Screw.
3. Before you pour your concrete, be sure the Spread Anchor is in the correct position.
4. Upon the concrete achieving the required strength, its safe working load will become visible through the opening in the Rubber Former and the Spread Anchor head. The anchor is embedded below the surface with a pocket cut into the concrete to receive the corresponding Spread Anchor Ring Clutch as the Rubber Former forms a recess in the concrete.
5. After attaching the Spread Anchor Ring Clutch to the anchor, rotate the lever 90 degrees until the latch is flat on the concrete surface and the latch is engaged with the Spread Anchor Ring Clutch.
6. Lift the lifting chains and lift. The lifting at any angle is accommodated by the universal joint of the Spread Anchor Ring Clutch. To release, simply go about step 5 in reverse.
