Product Overview
Adjustable Column Shoes are heavy-duty structural connection components engineered to anchor precast concrete columns to foundations or lower columns. Cast directly into precast concrete elements during factory production, these shoes connect with foundation anchor bolts on site to establish immediate mechanical load transfer for tensile, compressive, and shear forces.
By using slotted holes and double-nut leveling systems, these column shoes allow installation crews to make millimeter-accurate horizontal and vertical adjustments before pouring non-shrink structural grout. This replaces traditional field welding and temporary column bracing, reducing crane occupancy time and lowering total erection costs.

Operational and Structural Advantages
Reduced Crane Hook Time Columns are mechanically secured with base anchor bolts as soon as they are placed over the foundation. Once the leveling nuts are hand-tightened, the crane can safely unhook and move to the next element, reducing site crane hours by up to 40 percent.

Full Structural Load Transfer Integrated rebar tails anchor the shoe into the main rebar cage of the precast column. Once the structural grout cures, the joint acts as a monolithic structural connection capable of transferring full design loads.
Manufacturing and Quality Control
Material Verification All raw steel plates and rebar batches are inspected upon factory arrival. Chemical composition and mechanical tensile strength are verified against EN 10204 3.1 material test certificates.
Precision CNC Processing and Laser Cutting Base plates and slotted bolt holes are manufactured using high-precision CNC laser cutting to guarantee consistent hole centers and exact fitment with job-site anchor bolt templates.
Structural Welding and NDT Inspection Load-bearing welds between the base plate and anchor rebar are performed using automated robotic welding stations or certified structural welders. Ultrasonic Testing (UT) or Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) is conducted on critical load paths.
Surface Treatment and Traceability Hot-dip galvanizing is performed strictly to ISO 1461 to ensure high corrosion resistance for outdoor or aggressive chemical environments. Every finished column shoe receives a stamped heat number for complete raw material traceability.
